2004 S2000 |
2004 Honda S2000 features a digital instrument panel display, the display features a large, bar-type tachometer divided into 100 rpm increments and flashes red when the engine red-line is reached. A highly visible digital speedometer is below the tachometer as well as readouts for coolant temperature, fuel level, trip and cumulative mileage odometers and indicator lights for SRS, oil pressure. It also features a power operated soft top with a glass rear window equipped with a defroster. Pushing a switch on the center console opens or closes the top in about 6 seconds. When raised, latches at the top of the windshield hold it securely. When folded, the top stows compactly behind the cockpit. For 2004 the engine has grown, the redline has dropped, the transmission's gear ratios have been jumbled, the shifter action has improved, the cockpit is slightly roomier and the chassis subtly revised. This year's model is downright amazing. It is great looking, fun to drive sports coupe.
