The 2004 Honda Odyssey is one of the industry's only mini-vans with a four wheel independent suspension, it is also the only minivan with rear double wishbone suspension. While the Odyssey offers class-leading horsepower, this is negated by its weight. Nevertheless, it accelerates briskly, as quick as many sport-utilities. It has a firm, carlike ride and a super-convenient flip-and-fold rear seat. It is a 4-door, 7-passenger mini van. It is a stylish and practical transport for families and businesses. It maximizes performance with EPA city/highway ratings of 18/25 mpg. Honda's minivan is thoroughly safe, has a nice price, lasts for a very long time and offers smooth driving features for a pleasant ride. In other words, it is a typical Honda.
2004 Honda Odyssey has an enhanced 3.5 ltr, 24-v VTEC V6 engine and outputs up to 240 horsepower while also meeting stringent Low Emission Vehicle standards. It comes in LX, EX, and leather-upholstered EX-L models. All have a 3.5-liter V6, 5-speed automatic transmission, antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, traction control, and front side airbags. Also standard are dual sliding side doors--power operated except on LX--and 7-passenger seating with a 3rd-row bench that folds flush with the floor. Available for EX-L is a factory-installed rear-seat DVD entertainment system with ceiling-mounted screen, remote control, and wireless headsets. Satellite-based DVD navigation is also optional for EX-L, but not in combination with the video package. It is an ideal car for fun, friends, and family. Oh, and commuting to work, of course!
Compare this Odyssey with the new 2004 Liberty.

2004 Liberty |
New for this year, Jeep Liberty features include an off-road light bar that lets you blaze the trail at night and stow wet, dirty gear in the integrated roof basket by day. Other exterior features like wide fender flares, ICON Cast aluminum wheels, and standard halogen fog lamps make this a car for the most avid outdoorsmen.
