The new 2004 F-150 XL comes with 4.6L Triton V8 or optional 5.4L Triton V8 with 3-valve technology and 40/20/40 front seat, black vinyl floor covering and 17-inch wheels and tires. In addition to the standard features on every F-150 model, listed below are a few of the STX features that differentiate it from XL. F-150 STX has a monotone appearance with body color front and body color rear bumpers with 17” sport cast aluminum wheels. F-150 FX 4 has been powered with off-road shocks and optional 18” cast aluminum wheels. F-150 Lariat has unique features as power heated side mirrors with external mirror-mounted turn signal indicators, brushed nickel grille insert with chrome surround, and 18” bright aluminum wheels.

The standard engine on 1500 regular cabs is a 4.3-liter V6 with 200 horsepower. 5-speed manual transmission comes standard, while 4-speed automatic transmission is optional. In all 1500 regular cabs, the standard engine can be replaced with one of two engines, a 4.8-liter V8 with 270 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 285 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm or a 5.3-liter V8 with 300 horsepower at 4400 rpm and 360lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm. 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pickup has the following available models SS, Z71, 1500s, 2500s, 2500-HD, and 3500. Following new additions are now available up on the existing features. New ½ -ton 1500 Crew Cab in either 2WD or 4WD, New ¾ -ton 2500 Series short-box Crew Cab in 2WD or 4WD. Base includes cruise control, power door locks, black body side moldings, up level wheels, chrome bumper, and AM/FM stereo with CD player. Z71 off-road package has cruise control, high capacity air cleaner, and rear defogger, power door locks, power windows, color-keyed grille and deep-tinted glass.
